Can you feel the energy in the air as we transition into fall and the final stretch of 2022? I don’t know about you, but for me I tend to get a big boost of motivation right around now. It’s the sweet spot as we wind down from the vacations and long summer days and have a few more weeks before the world begins demanding we focus on holidays and gift buying and planning get togethers.
It’s also time for me as a business owner to really nail down 4th quarter plans, dates, and GOALS.
The main supplier we buy our boxes and shipping supplies from, Uline, has a yearly Free Shipping offer that happens to fall during this exact time every year. So, you guessed it. We STOCK up for the year ahead!
As Blue Cedar Beef is rolling into its 4th year of business, I have a much better picture of what sales for the year ahead (and needed shipping supplies) will look like. But I’m not stopping there! I have some big goals for the next year and specifically for 4th quarter of this year and I am ordering the shipping supplies and materials needed to fulfill those goals and then some!
In fact, the truck just arrived TODAY and I had to use our skid loader to unload pallets (yes, plural!) …pallets and pallets of all the boxes and tape and stickers and everything we need to get our delicious beef safely to your doorstep.
I am so excited for what the future has in store for Blue Cedar Beef and for all of the amazing customers and families we get to work with!

I went to a local farm recently that my friend, Michelle, runs and she has the most beautiful you-pick pumpkins, mums, corn stalks, etc. Here’s a quick peak at how I dressed up our farm office for Fall!
